Afterlife in the Old Testament

The Old Testament saints did not have the benefit of Jesus’ teachings or the apostles’ writings, but they shared a common view of God’s covenant. They trusted that His promises would be fulfilled and they would have a future with Him, even after their physical bodies died and were buried.
